The founder
Twenty-four years on the front line of sales.
I've spent my whole working life doing the one thing every business depends on and most people dread: getting a stranger to say yes.
Not from behind a desk, and not from a textbook. From doorsteps, showrooms, phone lines, government offices and sold-out rooms. I've sold things people wanted, things they needed, and things they didn't know they needed until the conversation was over.
Along the way I learned something most marketers never do. You can make something that isn't air, food or water feel just as necessary, without ever sounding like a pushy salesman. The secret isn't pressure. It's reflection: showing people their own situation so clearly that the right decision becomes obvious.
The résumé nobody plans
If it sells, I've probably sold it.
Every one of these taught me something different about why people buy, and why they don't.
- Age 16Misprinted stamps
My first sale. Rare collectibles, pitched to serious investors, as a teenager.
- GovernmentTools & safety equipment
Sold to towns, counties and government agencies, where every deal runs through committees and red tape.
- RetailCell phones
High volume, walk-in traffic, and a new objection every ten minutes.
- FinanceLow-interest credit cards
Trust-first selling, where one wrong word ends the call.
- FinanceCredit repair
Helping people rebuild something personal, and earning the right to ask.
- FinanceMCA loans
Merchant cash advances for business owners who needed capital yesterday. Fast, high-stakes and all about trust.
- HealthcarePharmaceuticals
A world of experts, strict rules and gatekeepers, where only real knowledge earns a second meeting.
- ShowroomCars
The classic. Face to face, on the lot, with the whole family watching.
- Door to doorVacuums
No leads, no appointment, no warm-up. Just a doorbell and ten seconds to earn a yes.
- DigitalA cryptocurrency
Built it and marketed it from nothing.
- HealthSupplements
Built on repeat buyers and word of mouth.
- High-ticketPhotography workshops
Programs valued at $25,000 per seat.
The hard lessons
Not every chapter was a win.
I've built several businesses of my own. Some took off. Some didn't. I once built and marketed a cryptocurrency project of my own. A few months in, my partner was gone, roughly half a million dollars never made it where it was supposed to go, and the whole project fell apart.
That kind of loss either ends you or sharpens you. It sharpened me. It taught me to see people and deals clearly, and to build businesses on trust that holds up under pressure.
I wrote the whole story down, every expensive lesson and what it taught me about selling with integrity, in my book, The Lion’s Creed.
And every business, the winners and the losers, taught me the same thing: the hardest part is always the beginning. Finding the first customers. Building the leads. Turning conversations into sales. Over time I got really, really good at exactly that part.
Something was missing
“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”
Zig Ziglar
Success on my own wasn't enough anymore. I wanted to take everything I'd learned and use it to help other people get what they want, and build the kind of success that comes from doing exactly that.
Why Mirrorline exists
Promised the world. Delivered dead fish.
Look at marketing today and you'll see the problem. Agencies promise the world, charge a fortune, and hand back reports full of "impressions" while the phone stays quiet. Too much of this industry has become a scam.
So I decided to be the change I wanted to see. Mirrorline is built on the opposite idea: real strategy, real sales skills and real results you can count, from people who have actually carried a quota, knocked on doors and signed the checks.
We don't just bring you attention. We make sure it turns into customers.
